This course has been developed to equip industry professionals with the skills to carry out light vehicle wheel alignment operations including operating principles of steering geometry and wheel alignment, use of equipment and more.
COURSE OUTLINE
All candidates that participate in this course need to demonstrate competency in:
- Operating principles of steering geometry and wheel alignment
- Relationships between fault symptoms and component defects
- Frame alignment checks
- Wheel alignment system types and their construction
- Use of measuring tools and testing equipment

This course consists of a mixture of practical and theoretical components.
UNITS COVERED
Participants that successfully complete the course will receive a Statement of Attainment in: AURLTD006 Carry out light vehicle wheel alignment operations.

The course is delivered over one day or two nights at the MTA’s Royal Park Training Centre.

Course times: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (day course) | 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm (night course)
